Chapter 24:
Mom's story about Uncle Shin reminds me a little bit of Bruce Bogtrotter (in Matilda) and the cake Mrs. Trunchbull made him eat. I think they both regretted their choices.

My favorite Halloween costume was when I was in 4th grade. I was Carmen Miranda a famous singer and dancer. I really didn't even know who she was, but my way-cool mom always made our Halloween costumes and my mom was VERY creative. She showed me a picture of Carmen Miranda and I loved her red and yellow and purple colorful dress and all of the fruit piled on top of her head. I was geeked to be her, even though none of the kids at my school would know who I was either. (The teachers and the old people appreciated me though.) At the top of this blog posting, there is the picture of the REAL Carmen Miranda:

This reminds me when I ate 10 donuts in one whole day first I ate 5 for breakfast the I ate the other 5 in school because it was the last day for project Charlie.Thats why I"m not going to have a donut not for a looong time.
This reminds me of when i ate 4 pieces of pizza. I ate them all all on the last day of project charlie like Sion.
When I was little My mom made cookies then left my sister and I in the Kitchen she came back about a half a hour later and all the cookies where gone. She said where did all the cookies go? my sister and I said
"We don't know." with chocolate around our faces. Then my sister said that she had a stomach ache and five minutes later i said the same thing then we told her the story and then we got in trouble.
one time my dad gave me a piece of cake and then they went to the store they left me with my brother Lewis and Jesse they said watch the cake while we are gone we said o.k. then before you know it it is gone like in 5 min. I said I did not eat it.But i did
that`s why i`m not gonna have anymore pizza for a long time.
What Sion said about doughnuts it was the last day of project charlie and our project charlie teacher brought doughnuts because project charlie was at 9:00 to 10:00 so she brought us many & many doughnuts and I had 4 or 5 doughnuts that day. after all those doughnuts my stomach hurt I would love to have more doughnuts again in school.

This reminds me of when it was my birthday party when I was like 6 years old my dad went to go get the lighter to light the candle. But sooner you know it I turned around because my dad was with lighter then my cousin push my face into my cake. It was a present for me that everyone planned. I had gotten another cake.

One time i had a costume then i was in my drive way with candy and people were getting scared and then i saw a little kid then he went back in his car in left the only thing i had on was a mask for a motorcycle mask.

The story I am talking about is the costume one I am adding more to it. When I was in that mask a felt like i was a goalie for hockey and getting hot in there. Then i had to take it off because i was done with the candy when i took off the mask my face was as red as a cheery that had been cleaned.

I think that she will find out that she could be an author when she grows up beacause she won foruth place in the book compoticion.Which makes since because she becomes an author and writes this book.
I think that in chapter 26 it"s trying to say that Pacy finally found
her true talent.Before the year of the dog was over.Also that I think she knows what she wants to be when she grows up a author and she"s stinking with that method.
The best Halloween costume I've ever seen was the grim reaper. Then I thought of the grim adventures of Billy and Mandy. I wonder if he just had bones under the robe. Because the grim reap is just bones. No skin. Just bones.

actually my favorite Halloween costume was a few years ago. i wanted to be elvis so i was. it was surprising when i saw another guy
in a elvis costume just like mine. except he had an afro.So he didn't look as good as me it was like disco was back.

I think my best idea for a costume was when i was obi-wan-kenobi for halloween. I had a green plastic lightsaber even though it was sopposed to be blue. I still looked like him though.I was him in episode 1[when he was a padawan learner]which i think was pretty darn cool to be a star wars character for the first time let alone from episode 1. 1 time we were walking down the street near maplewood school and i saw Darth Vader on the other side of the street. But of course it was just a guy in a costume i mean why would there bse a real darth vader on the other side of the street if the whole 6 movie trilogy of star wars was fake? Well any ways i called out to him and he had one of those red lightsabers the sith use which when you push a button the blade comes out and lights up AND it makes the lightsaber sounds and i only had a green plastic one but we fought and i actually won and then we went off to get more candy. Because you know us kids need our awesome good source of candy once a year and and that once a year time is of course HALLOWEEN!

I think the moral of the story is
about a family that is Taiwanese
and that comes to the United states
to start over and as that goes along
the kids make new friends and enemy's but they still make it work out for the better.And the parents know what it is like because they've all been throw it at some point or some body they know has been threw it before.

The best Halloween costume I had seen was a little 1 year old in a Telly tubby suit. She looked so cute. I was passing out candy to people who would come to my house. I gave the girl in the telly tubby suit 3 pieces of candy. she looked that nice that when my little sister was about 1 or 2. I made her dress up like the girl I saw while passing out candy, and when we went to our first house to go trick a treating.They gave my dad,mom,my sister,brother and me of course 4 pieces those jolly rancher with sour stuff in it. It was really good that I ate them in one whole night. So then that night later We had went to the mall. First we went to Steve and Berrys. I think one of the manager said that I looked cute. I was proud of myself!!! I was about 7 years old. I had always want to look pretty at Halloween time.
In the year of the dog the main idea is about to find what your good at like what pasy did with the book

the big idea is that Pacy can do what she believe in her self that she can find out about what is her inside of her that she doesn't know about and she found out that she is an author and she is going to write a lot of book and the book we are reading is a book she wrote about and her sister was wrong that she is not going to make a lot of books but she did and she is i think she is famous and she is going to write more more books and that Taiwanese and chines came back to America
My favorite costume would be the time I was a skeleton I had a skeleton shirt and my mom made skeleton pants the one problem was that I had a face
